Governor Fubara made this declaration at King Ateke Tom's 60th birthday bash in Okochiri Town. Yes, 60! The big six-oh! King Ateke Tom is now officially older than some of the pipes in the Port Harcourt water corporation!
But seriously, Governor Fubara praised King Ateke Tom for standing with him during the political crisis and for being a champion of peace and development in the state. He also commended the king for including God in his celebration, saying it's not every day you see someone thanking God for their life instead of just popping bottles and spraying cash like it's going out of style!
The governor noted that attaining 60 is no small feat, especially in these modern times when life expectancy is shorter than a Nigerian's attention span on social media! He said it's a miracle King Ateke Tom has lived this long, considering all the ups and downs he's faced in life.
Governor Fubara promised to continue supporting King Ateke Tom and praised him for his efforts in making peace and happiness his top priorities. And we're like, 'Amen to that, sir! May we all live to celebrate 60 and beyond in peace and harmony!'"
